The group standard of "Specifications for Performance Evaluation of CNC Reciprocating Wire EDM Machine Tools" formulated by the Special Processing Machine Tool Branch of China Machine Tool Industry Association passed expert review on April 13, 2021 in Beijing.
 

The expert group is headed by Professor Fu Jinjuan, deputy chief engineer of Beijing Institute of Electrical Processing, and Professor Zhang Baohua, chief engineer of Beijing Andejianqi Digital Equipment Co., Ltd., as the deputy team leader. Experts believe that the standard is based on relevant industry standards and fully incorporates and reflects the current research and development achievements and technological progress of CNC reciprocating wire EDM wire cutting machine tools, as well as certain aspects of the machine tool’s mechanical accuracy, processing performance, and operation test. The terms have made new regulations and requirements, and the main technical indicators are higher than the corresponding industry standards, which are of great significance to guide, standardize and promote the high-quality development of CNC reciprocating wire EDM wire-cutting machine tools in my country, and they unanimously agreed to pass the review.
